Today, I got an email from an old classmate of mine.

Apparently he's gone to Sendai to help with the earthquake relief efforts.
(He says he's staying on the floor of an office, in a sleeping bag!)

Wherever you go, people are waiting in long lines in the cold, and there's all these little kids with their mothers...
It's painful to watch.
