  2. Yes! The Buck-Tick Love is taking over!
Wonderful reaction and it would have been very surprising if he had not fallen in love with the band... ;o)

  3. I was really waiting for him to make an awkward comment about how beautiful young Atsushi was. All he managed was saying "hair model," I believe. Ah well. Heterosexually good enough, I suppose.

    1. How can you assume that this man is heterosexual?

    2. Yeah I wouldn't assume anything, Mr Sakurai may just not be his type. And he's not wrong about the hair :)

    3. You are absolutely right, that was foolish of me. My apologies. Thank you for pointing it out.

    4. Tbh he looks more weird than beautiful in Dress. I've always thought he looks way more beautiful when performing. Maybe if he had seen live performances, he would've commented on that.

    5. Especially behind the ice, hah. But I do love how her face flows into his etc.

It's a pity he didn't watch anything from Climax Together.

  4. Oh my god, I happened to stumble across this exact video just a few days ago. Funny that you´ve discovered it too. I was actually thinking about sending you the link ;).

But I wouldn´t be Juli if I weren´t the one to ruin the fun.
I´ve watched about 5 videos by this guy and his tactic started to get predictable for me very soon.
No doubt, he´s a nice guy, but notice how he doesn´t ever say ANYTHING negative on his videos. He knows sooo well that if his fans request a band, he´ll better only say good things about the band. When you know that fangirls think Sakurai is attractive then of course you´re gonna say "Wow, that guy is so attractive"
At the same time, I don´t feel like I get a different perspective on the songs or the band or that his videos enrich me in any way.
But most of all, I can´t get rid of the feeling that he doesn´t express his honest opinion. it´s obvious that he always finds something more or less positive to say about a band even when he dislikes the music. In reality he wouldn´t listen to at least like 80% of the bands he´s commenting on.

I guess what I´m trying to say is:
I prefer a professional analysis over someone who states that all the music fans request is awesome :3

    1. Did it occur to you that perhaps, he has wide-ranging tastes, and his fans recommend bands to him that they're pretty sure he'll enjoy, and that's why he loves all the bands? Not everyone is an angry hater like you.

Another question: do you really think there's anyone out there who would take a look at Mr. Sakurai's face and deny that he's good looking? I've yet to hear anyone, male or female, gay or straight, B-T fan or not, deny it. Does anybody deny that Marilyn Monroe was beautiful? Nope. Some people are objectively pretty.

Third question: if you're demanding that everyone who reviews music on the internet have a Master's Degree in Internet Music Criticism, you'll have to stop trashing on songs till you get that degree.

    2. Has he reacted positively to any bands that are objectively bad? It's possible he cherry picks the ones he responds to because he can't be arsed to spend 15 minutes of his short life on this wonderful planet being a negative nancy.

That doesn't make his opinion when he states it less honest, however.

    3. I do agree that he seemed a bit slick, but really, what is so bad about being positive? Does it provide intense insights? No. Is it a bit of light entertainment? Surely.

    4. Juli, if you want me to publish your comments, please make sure they follow the rules for commenting. As I noted in the rules: Blog-Tick is not a fan forum. I am under no obligation to post comments. I merely do so as a service to people here who want to engage in constructive, good faith discussion. Spouting needlessly negative comments as a bid for attention does not constitute good faith, constructive discussion. If you'd like to post at length about your own opinions, there is nothing to stop you from starting your own blog.

I shared this video to make people smile. If it didn't make you smile, too bad. But I won't let you ruin other people's fun.

      P.S. Flamers get publicly ridiculed.

  5. If he ends up a fan, then I'm sure that will lead to one more Kurumi t-shirt sale!
